We value our parents and the contributions they make to our school. We believe that such involvement in the education process assists in increased student achievement and success.
There are many opportunities for parents to play a significant role in their child’s education. We would like to hear from you if you are interested in volunteering.
All volunteers at our school need to have a current Criminal Record Check completed through the RCMP. These are now done online through the City of Red Deer website.
Criminal Record Checks are required for these types of volunteer roles:
- Classroom volunteer
- Hot lunch/milk program volunteer
- Other school-based activities during school hours
- Field trip volunteer
**The RCMP have advised us that Vulnerable Sector Checks are no longer required for field trips.
There is a $10.00 charge for volunteers. Please email fathervoisininfo@rdcrs.ca or contact the office and we will send you a digital copy to start the process.

Please return the completed RCMP Criminal Record Check to the office. These are valid for a period of three years.
*Please note RCMP Criminal Record checks must be no older than 1 month when received at the school office. 3rd Party criminal Record Checks will not be accepted.
Please note that we have Workers Compensation Board of Alberta (WCB) coverage for volunteers. This coverage is purchased for individuals engaged in connection with a school organized project or activity.
